No Blanks Fired at Savannah Lakes
Kris Blanks (Rincon, GA) fired an eight-under par 64 Sunday in the final round of The Savannah Lakes Resort Classic over the 7032 yard, par 72 Monticello Golf Club to garner his second career Hooters Tour title.

“My goal this year was to come out here and make every cut and get my confidence back,” said the veteran touring professional. “The ball is going where I want it to this year, and I believe I have only made five bogies the past two weeks.”

Blanks carded rounds of 67-68-67-64 for a four day total of twenty-two-under par and a new tournament record for the Savannah Lakes Resort Classic. The previous record of twenty-one-under par was set last year by Camillo Villegas.
