Champions Golf Academy Hugh Royer III Golf Programs for Professionals, Gap-Year, Adults and Juniors

The mission of Champions Golf Academy is to provide the highest level of golf instruction to players of all levels. The golf academy is located at the Long Bay Club, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Golf instruction is spearheaded and provided by former PGA Tour player and four time Nationwide Tour winner Hugh Royer, III, and his handpicked instruction team, utilizing the most advanced training tools available, at an exceptional world-class facility. Royer provides golf instruction and golf evaluation to several professionals, as well as leads golf development programs for amateurs and collegiate golfers.

Summer Golf Camps for Juniors Ages 12-17

The golf instruction center features a driving range with three private teaching bays, a short game area, long game area, lounge area, and its own fitness center with golf specific equipment. The teaching bays will be equipped with the V-1 Digital Coaching System, the latest in swing analysis technology. This software captures, compares, and analyzes swings, and saves to a database. Video can easily be written to CD/DVD for the player to review following golf instruction, and allows the player to e-mail videos of swings to the coach, and vice versa.

Additionally, sports psychology led by Stephen A. Russo, Ph.D. and accommodations are available for the various golf instruction programs offered at the academy.
